Leave it to Madame's Intro to French class to teach our French guests how to make a staple in American delicacies: a peanut butter & grape jelly sandwich. Let it be known that peanut butter is quite difficult to find, if it can be found at all; and that grape jelly does not exist in France, despite the abundance of grapes. Some of our guests had mixed feelings about the sweet & salty flavor, some had to have 3 sandwiches before the period was over. Bottom line is, it was a fantastic encounter, both ways. Miam!
